Job Description

BIRD is an AI powered Business Intelligence product that provides insights on all types of structured, unstructured and real-stream data. With in-built ML models and natural language report generation, BIRD enables both business users and analysts equally well to derive insights from a single platform.

Account Managers at BIRD are hunters, with both scientific and creative bent in bringing successful sales.
The role requires someone to identify the most valuable prospects and partners that would help us get established in the market. You must be comfortable with technology products especially the analytics/BI landscape and should have previously worked in selling similar products in Lifesciences/Finance vertical.

We believe in precision selling and an account manager should be able to identify the most compelling value proposition given the customer context.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the identifying strategic leads and converting them to closed deals
  • Thorough and proper qualification of customer needs and requirements
  • Getting the right Account map, making the ROI of our product to potential clients and negotiating the contract
  • Become a BIRD product expert and conduct product demonstrations to interested prospects via our web based conferencing tools
  • You will become an expert of the Business Intelligence market and learn how to position BIRD relative to competing alternatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years sales experience selling software, preferably BI and analytics products, to the F500 companies
  • Proven experience in one of the following industries: Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices or healthcare IT, Finance, Banking
  • MBA is preferred
  • Continuous, substantial, and demonstrable success in enterprise sales
  • Deep and creative sales hunter skills with experience in Solution Selling
  • Proven experience selling to the Executive level
  • Exceptional track record of developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
